SCM headache

The Sterno-Cleido-Mastoid Muscle is an important muscle for turning the head and inhaling. It sits at the front of the neck and forms a "V-shape"

SCM headache

This muscle forms a headache that crosses the brow. It can radiate into the eye socket. It is sometimes accompanied by a dry/sore throat and/or dry cough due to a nerve that can be affected in the region. It's an uncomfortable headache that is sometimes associated to migraine but can be treated at home and in the clinic with self care, massage and mindful breathing techniques.
